Feists
Feists are descendants of terriers brought over by English coal miners and
other immigrants and were developed in the southern United States. They
probably included breeds such as Smooth Fox Terriers, Manchester Terriers,
and the now extinct white English Terrier. Whippet, Beagles, and Italian
Greyhounds were crossed in for speed and hunting ability. Types of Feist include
